Who we are
Every business strategy creates requirements of the organization and its people. ELINO helps leaders translate those changes into the organization, leadership, and human capability required to deliver the strategy and position the business for what comes next. We believe people thriving and extraordinary business results should reinforce each other by design.
What makes us different
Most People consulting starts with a program — an engagement survey, a leadership training, a comp study — and treats it as the whole answer. We start with the business strategy and work backward: what does this strategy actually require to be true of the organization, and what's the smallest, most precise intervention that gets it there.
We diagnose before we design. Turnover, performance gaps, and hiring struggles are rarely the real problem — they're signals of one. Before we recommend anything, we find the system underneath the symptom, so you're not solving the wrong thing well.
We work at the level the problem requires, not the level of our discipline. The answer might be organizational design, leadership, talent, compensation, or a combination — we're not incentivized to sell you the one thing we happen to do. The problem picks the solution, not the other way around.
We see the whole system, not the individual pieces. Structure, leadership, talent, rewards, and culture don't operate independently — people experience them as one thing. Most firms specialize in a slice of that and hand you a fragment. We build the connective tissue between the pieces, because that's where the advantage actually lives.
The result isn't another program running alongside the business. It's a People Operating Platform built into how the business already runs — designed once, and built to evolve as the strategy does.
Behind the Business
Jamie Whitacre is the founder of ELINO, bringing over a decade of expertise in building high-impact people strategies that drive business growth. Prior to launching ELINO, Jamie served as the Chief People Officer at 3Pillar Global, a Product Development and Professional Services firm, where she played a pivotal role in scaling the company from a 20-person team to a global workforce of 2,500 across nine countries. Her leadership was instrumental in executing eight successful acquisitions and navigating two strategic exits.
Since founding ELINO, Jamie has taken that same discipline directly to CEOs and leadership teams navigating growth, acquisitions, and scale — building People Operating Platforms that hold up under the pressure of a real business, not just on paper. Her clients range from private equity-backed portfolio companies preparing for their next stage of growth to founder-led businesses redesigning their organization around a new strategy. The work is the same wherever she takes it: translate what the business needs to become true of its people, and build the system that gets it there.
Jamie holds a Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University and a Master of Business Administration from Capella University. Through ELINO, she continues to help organizations optimize their talent strategies, ensuring they are well-equipped to grow, evolve, and thrive in an ever-changing business landscape.
